Fireworks

Taylorsville city puts on fireworks every year for their Taylorsville Dayzz celebration. It has been a tradition in our family for about the last 4 years to go to the K-mart parking lot off of Bangerter and 5400. That spot has the best view one could ever get for watching fireworks (minus Derek's Pleasant Grove house where you could see every cities' fireworks at the same time). This year it was just myself and Maysi as Derek had to work and Mom and Dad were on their mini vacation. When the fireworks started the first thing Maysi said was 'Pitty' (pretty) and then 'wow' and then 'yea'. None of it was prompted for her to say, she just thought the fireworks were pretty and neat. She enjoyed the entire program all the way to just before the finale when she fell asleep. When it was all said and done I went to move her off my lap and she woke up and cheered and clapped for the finale (even though she didn't see it). It was such a cute night with my daughter.
